Assistant Camp
Manager Application

Job Description:

  • The role of our Assistant Camp Manager has different avenues of responsibilities.

  • Some of which are on site and some of which are not. 

 

Work Type:

  • Full-Time

 

Pay:

  • $30k a year + Free Housing (If needed)

 

On-Site Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Camp Manager in maintenance of grounds and facilities

  • Assist in the Building of new Camp Dorms

  • Retreat Group Lead

    • Checking groups in and out

    • Facilitating desired group activities (Zipline, Giant Swing, Low ropes course, etc.)

    • Remain on-site and be available to ensure group satisfaction

  • Summer Season Responsibilities

    • Plan and program summer schedule with Camp Manager

    • Recruit and be a point of contact for Deans.

    • Manage Summer Staff and Volunteer staff (Hiring, Training, and managing behavioral conduct, work load, and spiritual development expectations)

 

Off-site Responsibilities:

  • Run Camp website and social media

    • Respond to inquiries on retreat groups and other messages

    • Updating information as needed

  • Run our Summer registration site

  • Church relations and Donors

    • Visit and promote camp at our supporting Churches 

    • Find potential new supporting Churches and youth groups that need a place to go for summer camp

    • Find New donors for the camp

    • Create and Facilitate a strategic marketing plan
