Smoky Mountain Christian Camp has been in Coker Creek since 1975. It is supported by the Christian Churches in the area. Bill Clark was the manager from 1989 til 2004. He still helps manage the camp, but his son, Billy, now is the manager. Billy came on staff full time in 1996, starting the wilderness program. He acted as the assistant manager until taking on the title of camp manager. HIs wife, Jenni, acts as the part-time secretary.
Billy is certified in lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid. He is a licensed school bus driver. He has gone through training for High and Low Ropes Courses through Project Adventure.
